Her positive demeanor, dependability, and flexibility make her a joy to work with. She engages patients through informative group sessions and consistently offers help to colleagues, showing kindness and respect. Mariam's resourcefulness and willingness to learn new responsibilities enable her to handle challenging situations effectively, making her an indispensable team member. For her outstanding contributions, Mariam is a deserving recipient of the Mental Health Associate of the Year award.

As the longest tenured member of the Case Management team with nearly 25 years of experience, she is known for being a valuable asset in multiple capacities. She consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to her work, always going above and beyond to support both patients and coworkers. Carol is proactive in finding solutions to any challenges that arise and is always willing to lend a helping hand. In addition, she also takes time to acknowledge and celebrate milestones in the lives of her colleagues. Congratulations to Carol on this well-earned recognition!

We are proud to honor Marqita Hart-Williams, as our Nursing Support Staff of the Year for Children's Hospital of Michigan. Marqita works in our neurosurgery clinic and is a shining example of what a truly kind CHM advocate should be, always going the extra mile to get the job done. While new to the neurosurgery team, she has been a great addition by displaying a positive attitude, providing excellent customer service skills, and communicating well with other team members. Kenyetta Hannah-Polidore, Patient Care Assistant

We are proud to honor Kenyetta Hannah-Polidore on being named Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan’s (RIM) PCA of the Year. Kenyetta has worked at RIM for almost four years on the Neuroscience Unit. According to her co-workers, she treats her patients with dignity and respect, going the extra mile to make sure that they know they are cared for. She shares her knowledge and philosophy of care with the PCAs she trains. Kenyettea has always wanted to be a nurse and is currently enrolled in nursing school. She says the best part of working at RIM, is making patients smile.

She has earned a strong reputation with the Harper PACU team for her positive attitude and never-ending energy.
